Schwäbischer Käskucha (Swabian Cheese Cake)
This German Cheesecake is made with Quark which I locally source from a Hudson Valley farmer. The recipe is an old family recipe passed on from my Oma, to my mother and then to me (which I slightly modified so it is lighter).
Once the filling is assembled it is poured into a handmade crust and baked. Some Rum soaked Raisins are scattered within the Quark filling.
Keep refrigerated and eat within 3-4 days. Can be frozen.
The cakes are boxed and bagged.
Tip: For best taste remove from refrigerator 15 min before consumption.
Allergens: Milk, Wheat Flour, Egg.
