For the Germans, to celebrate Christmas without Stollen is just impossible. It's THE traditional Christmas cake. 

Traditionally our grandmothers and mothers bake them well ahead of time so all the ingredients can develop their flavors. They hide it  - mostly on top of the wardrobe in the bedroom - yet often the Stollen get found by us and, well, eaten up!

Enjoy my versions of Stollen - 'Classic' or 'with Marzipan' which I developed over a year, mixing old recipes of my grandmother and a friend's grandmother from Dresden and taking my own spin on it. 

We use organic and high quality ingredients beside some special imported ingredients such as Austrian Rum and German Marzipan. And lots of time and love to bake the Stollen. 

Allergens: Wheat Flour, Tree Nuts (Almonds), Milk, Yeast, Egg, Rum.

How to keep and cut a Stollen: 

Keep in a cool dry place, away from sunlight. The top of your bedroom wardrobe will be perfect. 

Cut the Stollen from the middle and move the two parts together to retain freshness. Keep in an airtight container.
