There are Lebkuchen and ....Lebkuchen. My mother, hooked on Basler Läckerli, finds them irresistible and simply the best, so she bakes them herself since years. Being hooked myself on them, I used her recipe as a base and created my own version (which got approved by 3 Ladies visiting from Basel who bought a box to take back home to Basel!).

Ingredients: Organic Wheat Flour (Hard & Soft Red Wheat), Organic Raw Honey, Organic Cane Sugar, Natural Almonds, Glazed Lemon & Orange Peel (with Glucose Syrup, Sugar, Citric Acid), Organic Lemon, Brandy, Purified Water, Organic Spices.

Contains: Wheat Flour, Honey, Tree Nuts, Brandy.
